Despite of the degrading 
values of some movies, which are being released every month, we could 
still see some family-oriented movies that have been seen by some, where
 several would be released at the end of 2011. Watching movies is not 
just an activity with friends or an individual past time. This is best 
shared with family where you could build memories and have fun. These 
are the top 10 family movies that you could share with your loved ones 
this year that would double the laughter and strengthen relationships.
10. Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon
This is the third released Transformer live
 action series, which was shown in June 23, 2011. This is directed by 
Michael Bay and written by Ehren Kruger. This is under Dream Works 
Pictures and produced by Don Murphy, Tom De Santo, Lorenzo di 
Bonaventura, and Ian Bryce. This is a continual phase of Transformers 1 
and 2, associated with the mission to the moon back in Apollo 11’s time.
 It was a race to save the Earth and the home of the Transformers named 
Cybertron.
9. Thor
It filled the ninth spot among the 
wholesome family movies, which are available for 2011. It is directed 
Kenneth Branagh and written by J. Michael Stracynski, and Mark 
Protosevich. The story revolves on the arrogant warrior named Mighty 
Thor who was cast down to earth when he caused war that later resulted 
to his punishment to live as human being.
8. Tangled
This movie was created in 2010 and had it 
premiered in November 2010. It was finally released in all theatres by 
January of 2011. This is the 50th animated movie produced by 
Walt Disney Animated Classics. The original title of this story is 
Rapunzel, which is based on a fantasy story, entitled Rapunzel who was 
sent and imprisoned inside the high-built tower  and was rescued by his 
prince charming.
7. Rio
The story happened in Rio de Janeiro, 
Brazil where the title of the movie came from. It is a comedy adventure 
film, which was directed by Carlos Saldanha and produced by Blue Sky 
Studios. The story focuses on a male blue macaw that fell in love with 
another blue macaw named Jewel. It was released in March 2011in Brazil 
while shown the following month in United States.
6. Shrek Origins: Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer
This is now yet shown in any movie theatres
 but it will be released in November 04, 2011 in all theaters and IMAX 
3D. DreamWorks Animation produced this film and directed by Chris 
Miller.
5. Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom
This is a sequel of Kung Fu Panda, which 
was shown in 2008. This movie was released in May 2011, produced by 
DreamWorks Animation, and directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson. It is about 
the villain who was threatening Po’s life and would like to conquer 
China where the rest is the story that you have to follow.
4. Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
This is a third part of the movie where Sid
 found three eggs of Dinosaurs. The scenes of the movie began when the 
three eggs were rescued.
3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
This is the final chapter and a last battle
 that Harry would fight. It is a quest to seek and to destroy the last 
three remaining Dark Lord’s horcruxes, ending the battle that started 
after his parents were killed.
2. Happy Feet 2 in 3D
This is one of the anticipated movies of 
the year. It will have its premiere on November 18, 2011, which is set 
in North America. It was directed by George Miller who also directed 
Happy Feet.
1. Green Lantern
This is an adaptation from a famous comic 
book character, which became a live action movie and released in June 
2011. It is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures
